Management Plan of “The Ancient City of Nessebar” - This website presents the summary of the Management Plan of “The Ancient City of Nessebar” – revised after the public discussion on July 24th, 2012 in Nessebar.
The new version of the Plan reflects all the useful remarks and recommendations made in the course of the discussions. In a Motivated report prepared according to the current Regulations are indicated the reasons for not including some of the proposals. The authors’ team of the Plan is grateful to all who participated in the dialogue and contributed to the improvement of the Plan. In this dialogue, no one was ignored. The three volumes of the complete Management Plan are available for acquaintance in the Municipality of Nessebar.

New exhibition at the Archaeological Museum of Nessebar
On 18 May 2013 at 17.30 hours Archaeological Museum - Nesebar, will open a new exhibition. It is dedicated on May 18 - International Day of Museums. The exhibition is titled "At the dawn of civilization," and it presents prehistoric materials in the Museum "Old Nessebar." They come from different mounds located near the town of Nessebar, especially in the fertile valley of the River Hadjiika. Most numerous in exhibition materials etc. Kozareva mound located near Kableshkovo. It is the only mound in the area, which is evaluated with regular archaeological excavations led by Professor Petya Georgieva (Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski"). |

Museum "Ancient Nessebar" will mark May 18 - International Day of Museums
On May 18, 2013 Museum "Old Nessebar" will celebrate once again the International Museum Day. This year it will be celebrated throughout the world for the 36th time and under the motto: "Museums (Memory + Creativity) = social progress." To feast on traditional museum workers will find a new exhibition at the Archaeological Museum, and then will start "Night of Museums". This European initiative is implemented in Bulgaria already for the ninth time and Museum "Old Nessebar" again will turn it rich program. Here is the program of the festival:

AGAIN medals for Nessebar dancers
On Saturday in the town of Kazanlak Rose was held open tournament dance sport and competition from chain "Cup of Bulgaria." The class representatives 13D Dance Sport Club "Nessebar" Nikola Petrov and Silvana Yaneva were a step away from the podium, taking fourth place. In juniors and two pairs of RRC "Nessebar" reached the finals so desired. Simeon Georgiev and Marie-Nicole Markova grabbed silver in Latin America and the bronze in the standard dances. Philip Kersher and Anna Nicole Antonova are ranked fifth. The bigger their teammates Samuel Lechev and Sofia Kolarova ranked 4th in the standard and fifth in Latin dances in class 15B.

International Conference "UNESCO - Historic towns heritage of peace"
A little more than forty years ago, in November 1972, in Paris, was adopted Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, to date, has been signed by 175 Member States of UNESCO. This is a historic step for the conservation of these masterpieces built by man and nature, reflecting the mosaic of diversity and identity. They are unique monuments, landscapes, traditions and values that relate to the entire planet. Essential elements of the nature of wisdom and human experience is that this generation shall not pass intact in the form of future generations, the heritage. This is an important responsibility that we must all obey.
