Project: STRENGTHENING WORKS OF LANDSLIDE IN THE VILLAGE OF RAVDA

The project has been finances by the regional development European fund and the state budget of the Republic of Bulgaria through “Regional development” 2007-2013 operation program.
The project shall run for 12 months.
Maximum total sum: 953 391, 84 BGN
The common purpose of the project is construction of small scale local infrastructure for strengthening of landslide in the village of Ravda in order to prevent future processes of the kind.
Project: CECILY COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT FOR SOCIAL INCLUSION AND LOCAL EMPLOYMENT
This project has been supported by “PROGRESS”, a program of the European community for employment and social solidarity (2007-2013); Procedure for project selection VP/2008/101.
CECILY project corresponds to the priorities based in PROGRESS Program and the Lisbon strategy regarding the population growth, places of work and the necessity to adjust to the problems of globalization, demographic ageing of population and migration.
The purpose of the project is to create working places and develop creative initiatives for isolated groups of people like migrants, long-term unemployed people, and people with disadvantages, women and other risky groups.
The project shall run for 12 months; its reference number is VS/2008/0472. The project contract was signed on 08.12.2008 in Brussels by representatives of the parties involved, namely Region Toscana acting as leading partner and the Commission.
The fulfillment of the project started in January 2009.
The project budget is € 200 000.
The contribution of the Commission is € 143 892, 80 which makes 80 % and it is free financial help.

Project: DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Nessebar municipality and the Municipal children’s complex have won a project under “Development of Human Resources” program financed by the European social fund.
The project is in the field of “Children and Young People in Education”.
The theme of the project is: Municipal interschool club “Skills of Life”, Nessebar.
Nessebar municipality and the Municipal children’s complex are the leading organizations. Project partners are the schools on the territory of Nessebar municipality.
The purpose of the project is to organize activities in the children and young people’s free time to develop their individual skills and gifts in the field of science, technology, sport and tourism.
1. Project: Elaboration of an investment project in two stages, first draft and technical, for construction of a waste water treatment plant in Sunny Beach tourist complex-Nessebar to the value of 2 074 106.70 BGN.
Origin of Financing:
• Cohesion fund (up to 80% of eligible costs)
• National co financing (up to 20% of eligible costs)
Main purposes:
• Improvement, preservation and reproduction of the natural environment and development of environmental infrastructure.
• Preservation and improvement of the condition of waters.
The project is a part of Priority 4 “Creation of qualitative life surroundings with modern infrastructure and preserved natural environment”, Purpose 2 “Completion and development of water infrastructure” and Step 4 “Waste water treatment” of the Municipal plan of development for the period of 2007-2013.
2. Project “BEAUTIFUL BULGARIA” – “Setting up of green areas around the blocks of flats on Struma street, Nessebar to the value of 165 479 BGN.
Origin of financing:
• Nessebar municipality – 82 740 BGN
• “Beautiful Bulgaria” – 82 740 BGN
The object is situated in the central part of Nessebar, in front of the building housing the Bureau of Labour. The blocks of flats in that area are of panel construction and the garden there was set up in 1970s. The main effort of the municipality is to renew that area and make it attractive with some trees, flowers, benches and children’s playgrounds.
