In 2008 Nessebar celebrated its 25th anniversary as a World cultural heritage monument. Fraternized cities and contracts of collaboration Fraternized cities partnership is a traditional way of municipal international activity. Throughout the years Nessebar has maintained contacts with different cities in a way of fraternization contracts which regularize the relations between the two states.
