Nikolai Dimitrov, mayor of Nessebar Municipality>>

Mr. Dimitrov has been elected Independent Nominee Mayor by 68. 04 %. Before holding the Mayor of Nessebar municipality office, in the period between 1998 and 2007 he was an independent municipal councillor, chairman of the Territorial, urban and rural development commission, deputy-chairman of the Commissions of education, tourism, sport and youth activities, member of the Agriculture and rural economy commission. From 1997 to 2000 he was a president of Sunny Beach football club and a member of different organizations and associations.
He spent the first seven years of his student’s life at the local Lyuben Karavelov School, and then he graduated from the Technical school of Organic Chemistry in the town of Bourgas. His higher education is a specialist in Management and Organization of Tourist Service as well as Economics of Tourism; he has a master’s degree in European Integration and Business Administration. He speaks four languages German, English, Russian and Czechoslovakian.
In his job the Mayor of Nessebar municipality applies the main principle of succession, team work and individual approach to any citizen, problem and policy of the particular projects.
Mr. Dimitrov likes sport and in his free time he exercises in the fitness hall, plays football, goes hunting and surfing…..and he can sing too!
Stoiko Stoyanov, secretary of Nessebar municipality

Stoiko Stayanov was born in Pomorie. He lives in the village of Gyulovtsa. He studied at the technical school of catering in Sunny Beach tourist complex. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Varna University.
From 1996 to 2009 he worked in the criminal police department at the regional directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Nessebar.
In his free time he likes reading. He is keen on photography and when travelling he stamps in pictures unique moments in life and nature.
His service at the police was dynamic and energetic. He gained experience which helps him fulfill successfully his multipurpose position as a secretary of Nessebar municipality.
Eli Kirilova, deputy-mayor “Culture, Education and International Collaboration”

Mrs Kirilova was born in the valley of roses in the town of Kazanlak. There she studied at Nikola Lankov primary school and then at Maxim Gorky high school of foreign languages. She graduated with a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Sofia. She speaks English and Russian well.
Eli Kirilova is a specialist in the field of tourism and development of tourist products. From 1998 till 2007 she was the owner and manager of Ecotour-BG EOOD. She was a secretary of Nessebar municipality in 2007 and 2008. In her job she relies on new ideas, team work and unusual projects.
In her free time Mrs Kirilova reads books, spends time in the countryside, exercises yogi and likes dancing. She shares the most cherished moments with her family and her sons aged twelve and seventeen.
Deputy- Mayors of Nessebar Municipality:
Victor Borisov, deputy-mayor “Legal Service and Municipal Property”

Victor Borisov was born in Nessebar. He completed his primary and secondary education at Lyuben Karavelov School in Nessebar. He graduated from the Free University of Bourgas with a master’s degree in Law. After one year as a legal candidate, he obtained the right to practise Law.
In the period between 2003 and 2006 he was an officer at the Ministry of Interior in Nessebar regional police department. He has been a member of Bourgas Bar College.
He is married and has two daughters at the age of eight and twelve.
Ivan Gurgov, deputy-mayor “Budget and Finance”

Ivan Gurgov has worked in Nessebar municipality since 2004. He was the head of Local taxes and charges department. From 1995 to 2004 he was a tax inspector at the National Revenue Agency in the town of Bourgas and at Sunny Beach AD.
Mr. Gurgov comes from Nessebar. Having graduated from the Technical school of Economics in the town of Bourgas, he continued his higher education in Accounting and Control at Varna University of Economics.
In the process of work he relies on good communication and team work.
Georgi Manolov, deputy-mayor “Management of European Funds Projects”

Georgi Manolov is one of the young representatives in the mayor’s team. He has been a deputy-mayor since December 2007. In the previous years he worked in the branch of tourism and he specialized in Germany during the course of his training there.
He studied Organization and Management of Hotels and Restaurants at the College of Tourism in Bourgas. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at Bourgas Free University. Then he graduated from the Marketing and Chemistry University in Bremen.
Since 2004 he has been a chairman of the Regional Association of Craftsmen in Nessebar and a member of the governing board of glaziers in Bourgas district.
In his free time he goes fishing and plays football.
Yanaki Stoyanov, deputy-mayor “Public Order, Sport and Youth Activities”

Yanaki Stoyanov Ivanov was born on September 1st, 1947 in the village of Banya, Nessebar municipality. He studied at the primary school in the town of Obzor and then he graduated from the Technical school of Mining in Bourgas. In 1967 he was a full-time student at the National Sports Academy in Sofia.
He completed his higher education in 1971. In the same year he enlisted in the Bulgarian Army, namely in CSKA-Sofia.
He is a republican youth champion, tour-time all-student champion and bronze madallist from the World students’ free-style wrestling championship in Istanbul, Turkey in 1968. He was a chief coach of the free-style wrestling men’s representative team of Chernomorets state football union from 1973 to1984. For his exceptional contribution to Bulgarian national sport he was awarded the highest title of Honoured Coach of the Republic in Bulgarian sport in 1981.
He has been a deputy-chairman of Sunny Beach-Nessebar SFU since 1984 and in 1986 he became the first chairman of Sunny Beach-Nessebur football club. From 1990 to 1994 he was a chairman of the municipal club “Sport for Everybody” in Nessebar.
Yanaki Stoyanov has been a municipal councillor for three mandates and a constant chairman of the Commission for legality, public order, transport and supervision on implementation of the decisions of the Municipal council. On 25th May 2007 he was elected chairman of Nessebar municipal council.
Mr. Stoyanov held the position of mayor of Nessebar Municipality in 1998 and 1999.
Lazar Yapadzhiev, deputy-mayor “Trade and Tourism”

Before taking the position of a deputy-mayor of Trade and tourism, Mr. Yapadzhiev worked for the Economic department in Nessebur municipality.
He completed his secondary education at Georgi Dimitrov high school in the town of Pomorie. He has a semi-higher education with a degree in Hotels and Restaurants Services from Aleko Konstantinov Institute of International Tourism in Bourgas. His higher education is a degree in Management of Tourism.
Mr. Yapadzhiev speaks three languages English, German and Russian. His main principles are loyalty, transparency and team work.
In his free time he practises sport and goes fishing.
Krassimira Todorova, deputy-mayor “Healthcare and Social Activities”

Krassimira Todorova is the youngest professional in the mayor’s team. In the period between 2005 and 2008 she was a health inspector at the Regional Inspectorate for Protection and Control of Public Health in the department for Control on catering establishments and foodstuffs in Bourgas.
She completed Economics, Management and Trade Finance at Dr.Ivan Bogorov secondary school in Varna. Later she graduated in Health Management from the Medical University in Varna and at the same time she specialized as a health inspector at Varna College of Medicine.
She speaks English and Russian well.
She spends her free time with friends and goes fishing.
